Distribute the National LGBTQI Young Adult Tobacco Needs Assesment, Survey Live 11/10/09

NYAC is happy to announce that the Needs Assessment survey tool is ready! After the tireless attention of the Working Group over the past few months, we have designed a survey and process that we think (and hope) will be very useful in collecting information about behaviors, attitudes, and facts about how LGBTQI young adults are or are not using tobacco products. Not only will we be able to make programmatic and policy recommendations for the nation, but we anticipate being able to make cross-regional comparisons and make specific regional statistics available to your organizations. Of course, to make sure your region is counted, we need you to be part of distributing the survey to young adults in your area.

In order to be qualify as a partner organization and to distribute the survey, you only need to do the following

1. Complete the Registration and Certification form that is attached to this email and return it to Jennie Beeson at jennie@nyacyouth.org or fax at 800.492.8916
2. One staff member must attend a live webinar or watch the recording of the webinar on the National LGBTQI Young Adult Needs Assessment Partner Organization Logistics.

The Needs Assessment will be available in two forms - paper and a web version. When the survey goes live on November 10th, it will be mailed to each participating organization in paper form and a live hyperlink will be made available to you!
